We always love the food at Woodcock and last night was no exception. We arrived around 7:45 and there was NO wait , absolutely shocking for there on a Friday. My fiancé had the sour beer that is currently on tap. We don't remember the name but it was a fruit punch and he loved it. We started with their pretzel app, and I promise you, they have the best pretzels in WNY. It's a basket full of smaller than usual pretzel sticks, served with the absolute best versions of cheese, mustard, and ranch dressing they could find. We save any remaining dips to carry over to our main meal. I also had French onion soup. They are one of the better places I order it from. Hot, loaded with onions, bread, and gooey cheese. We then shared the Carnivore pizza. Loaded with mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage and bacon. I love their crust and highly recommend dipping it in the ranch from earlier. We were chatting with our address at the end of our visit about a few visits in the past when we felt the service wasn't great (but we always love the food) and she explained that they don't have sections to work, they get tables all around the place, and there are no bartenders, they go back and make all of their own drinks. Gave some insight that made us look back and be a little more accepting of "poor service" visits in the past.

First time here and did not disappoint! The establishment is very nice and looks like they have a great outdoor patio to come back to when the weather warms up. Service was excellent, food was delicious. My only negative comment is the acoustics in there. It's kind of hard to talk because it's very loud but that would not deter me from coming back. Highly recommend!

Stopped in last weekend for "Cocktoberfest". Great atmosphere. There was a German band playing and a nice German menu. I ordered the chicken fingers which I typically get when I go here. They were delicious as always. The service was also great...waitress was friendly and attentive.

Perfect spot for a date night or even gathering with friends. It is very spacious in here and we saw many large groups. I was THRILLED to see the vegan options and the vegan mushroom quesadilla will have me running back! While I LOVED the mushroom quesadilla the bean burger was okay but nothing to write home about. The server was attentive and food came out quickly. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Came here for my dad's birthday and was surprised how big it actually was inside! They have so many great brewery staples to choose from! I got the build your own burger and it was great cooked to perfection. My toddler is almost 2 and I will say for toddlers there aren't a lot of options to choose from but she did like the French fries both regular and sweet potato and she liked the chicken tenders too. My husband liked the beer they had on tap too. Prices are good service is good and I would totally come back another time!

I've been to Woodcock a handful of times now and it's usually been great. They have a pretty spacious dining room and bar, and there's never been a wait for a table. The staff and waiters are pretty friendly, and the food comes out quickly. The food is pretty good, nothing over the top though. The beers are really great and worth stopping in for. The cocktails are hit or miss, and some are super small. All in all, I'm sure I'll be back when I'm in town visiting again.
